Boykins Youth Baseball is Back!

Join us at the ballfield February 17th from 11am to 2pm for in-person registration for children ages 4 - 12 years old. Online registration is available here: https://form.jotform.com/240114053785148. You do not have to live in Boykins to play on our teams. Player sponsorships and sibling discounts are available. No child will be turned away for failure to meet the $50 registration fee. The registration fee covers the cost of the jersey, hat, and socks.

About our Youth Baseball Program

Boykins participates in the Southampton Sussex Pony League. This means that we will play some games at home, here in Boykins, and some games in other league participating communities. Those communities are Newsoms, Capron, Courtland, Franklin (Down the Middle), Hunterdale, Ivor, Wakefield, and Waverly.

Spring 2024 is our second season and we are excited to expand our age groups from T-Ball (4-6) and Coach Pitch (7-8) to include Mustangs/Kid Pitch 9-10 and Broncos/Kid Pitch 11-12.

Our sponsors and volunteers!

Last baseball season would not have been possible without our sponsors and volunteers. No action or contribution was too small. We are truly grateful for every single one of you. We have a coaches secured for our T-ball team and Mustang Team should we have enough children register. We are still looking for volunteers to Coach the other teams should we have enough children to register to fill out those teams.

Boykins Lions Club

The Lions Club Home Run level sponsorship made it possible for us to purchase field equipment such as bases, base anchors, home plate and pitching rubber, tee ball stands, and balls. We are very grateful for their immediate response to our call for sponsor assistance.

Boykins Masonic Lodge #287 AF&AM

The masons always support our little town in little ways that make a big impact. They sponsored our team at the Double level sponsorship which made it possible to purchase uniforms. Their support did not stop there. Masonic Lodge members have provided their time and skills to help get the ball field and the Raymond Parker Recreational Park in working order. We are so grateful to them for giving their time and lending us their skills to get everything ready for our first home game April 15th.

Justin's Lawn & Landscaping, LLC

Justin Overby, owner of Justin's Lawn & Landscaping, LLC, provided his time, employees, and equipment to get our ball field looking like a ball field again. Because of his continued support that goes above and beyond his lawn service contract with the town, the Parks & Rec committee granted him a home run level sponsorship. We could never repay him for his time and services otherwise. If you see him or his crew around, please thank him for his continued community involvement.

Boykins Volunteer Fire Department

Our fire department volunteers serve the community is so many more ways than answering emergency calls. They help the Parks & Rec committee organize, setup and breakdown community events all year. They helped with our jerseys, installation of the ballfield equipment, restroom repairs, playground maintenance, concession stand, and so much more. If you see a fire department member, please thank them for their service to our community. They are true pillars of the community and without them we would not be able to provide many of the community events we all enjoy.

If you are interested in getting involved with our Parks & Recreation Committee, please contact Victoria Edwards at 757-654-6361. If you are interested in one of the above mentioned organizations, please reach out to a member. Not sure who the members are, call Victoria and she will point you to the right person.
